Generate QR codes for URLs, WiFi credentials, email addresses, phone numbers, and plain text. Download as PNG for print or SVG for scalable use. Generated entirely in your browser — your data is never sent to a server.

QR codes have become a standard way to bridge physical and digital spaces — on business cards, packaging, restaurant menus, event badges, and signage. The technical bar for creating one is low, but most online generators have a catch: they host dynamic codes on their servers, which expire when you stop paying. Static QR codes encode the data directly into the image and never expire. That is what this tool produces.

The generator supports the content types people actually need: URLs (the most common use), WiFi network credentials (useful for hospitality businesses, offices, and events where you want guests to connect by scanning rather than typing a long password), email addresses with optional subject line, phone numbers for click-to-call, and plain text for anything else. Every output is a static code with no server dependency.

Download the code as PNG for standard use or as SVG for scalable applications — large-format print, embroidery, signage, or any case where you need the code at a non-standard size without pixelation. There is no account, no daily limit, and no watermark.

How to use it

Three steps, under 30 seconds from upload to download.

  1. 1

    Choose a content type

Select URL, WiFi, email, phone, or text. The form adjusts to the fields relevant to your chosen type.

  2. 2

    Enter your content

Type the URL, WiFi credentials, or other data you want to encode. The QR code preview updates in real time.

  3. 3

    Download PNG or SVG

Choose PNG for digital use and standard print, or SVG for large-format printing or design tools where you need infinite scalability.

Questions & answers

Everything you might need to know before using the tool.

Will these QR codes expire?+
No. Static QR codes like the ones generated here encode the data directly into the image. They work indefinitely as long as the destination URL or content is valid. There is no server hosting and nothing to expire.
Can I encode WiFi login credentials?+
Yes. Select WiFi, enter the network name (SSID) and password, and choose the security type (WPA/WPA2 or WEP). iOS and Android both scan WiFi QR codes natively — the phone prompts to connect without any manual typing.
What is the maximum URL length I can encode?+
QR codes can technically encode up to 3,000 characters, but longer URLs produce denser codes that are harder to scan reliably. For URLs over 200 characters, use a URL shortener first to improve scan reliability.
Can I add a logo to the centre of the QR code?+
QR codes have built-in error correction that tolerates up to 30% of the code being obscured. Download the PNG or SVG and overlay your logo in Canva, Figma, or any image editor — centred, covering no more than 25-30% of the code area.
Should I download PNG or SVG?+
PNG for standard digital use and print at fixed sizes (business cards, posters). SVG for large-format printing, embroidery, or any application where you need the code to scale to an arbitrary size without losing sharpness.
