Frequently asked questions

Does cropping permanently remove content?

The tool sets the PDF CropBox, which defines the visible area. The original content is still in the file but hidden. Some PDF viewers allow resetting the crop box to reveal the full page.

Can I crop different margins on different pages?

Currently the same margins are applied to all pages. For per-page cropping, you can split the PDF first, crop each section separately, then merge them back.

What units can I use for margins?

You can set margins in millimeters (mm), inches (in), or points (pt). 1 inch = 72 points = 25.4 mm. The unit selector lets you switch between them instantly.
