How accurately does PDF to Word conversion work?+
For PDFs created digitally (from Word, Google Docs, etc.), conversion is highly accurate, text, paragraphs, tables, and basic formatting all transfer. PDFs created from scans of physical documents require OCR, which produces good results for clean scans but may need light editing for complex layouts.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?+
Yes. Scanned PDFs are processed with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to extract the text. Conversion quality depends on scan quality, high-resolution, straight scans convert cleanly. Low-quality or skewed scans may need correction after conversion.
Will tables convert correctly?+
Simple tables in digitally-created PDFs generally convert accurately into Word table format. Complex tables with merged cells or irregular layouts may need some adjustment after conversion.
Is there a file size limit?+
PDFs up to 200 MB are supported.
Are my files kept private?+
Files are uploaded over HTTPS, converted, and automatically deleted within 1 hour. We do not store or access your documents.
What if the conversion quality is not good enough?+
