Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change the date on a timestamp that's already on a photo?+
If a timestamp is already burned into the photo as pixels (not metadata), you cannot edit it without covering it. You can crop out the old stamp area or place a new stamp over it. For EXIF-only timestamps (invisible), this tool can display it visibly with any format you choose.
What font styles are available for the timestamp?+
The tool uses a clean monospace or sans-serif font styled for maximum readability on all background types. Font size is adjustable from small (subtle) to large (clearly visible at thumbnail scale).
Can I add a timestamp in a custom position?+
Yes. Choose from four corner positions (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right) or drag the stamp to any custom position using the preview editor.
