Why would I need to edit a timestamp on a photo?+

Can I remove an existing burned-in timestamp?+
This tool adds timestamps — it does not remove ones already burned into the pixels. To remove a burned-in timestamp, you would need an image editing tool with an inpainting or clone-stamp feature.
Does editing the timestamp change the EXIF data?+
