What if my PDF cannot reach 100 KB?

Will text become blurry?
Text and vector graphics are preserved at all compression levels. Only raster images embedded in the PDF are downsampled. At the Screen setting (maximum compression) images are reduced to ~72 DPI, which is fine for digital submission but may look soft when printed.
How is this different from the regular Compress PDF tool?
The regular Compress PDF tool optimises streams and metadata without targeting a specific size. This tool iteratively applies Ghostscript image downsampling until the file falls under your chosen target. Making it far more aggressive and size-predictable.
Is there a file size limit for input PDFs?
You can upload PDFs up to the standard server limit. For very large scanned documents (50+ MB) compression may take 30–60 seconds. A progress indicator will keep you informed.
